New Trilogy 3800D3 - new to Forum

Hello Everyone
Great forum with very informative threads.
It's nice that everyone is willing to share their experiences and knowledge on the Forrest River line of units.
This is our second Forrest River unit. We had a Rockwood Ultralite a few years back and bumped up to a Grand Junction in 2009. Last week we bought a new Trilogy 3800D3 after spending 8 months researching and doing some soul searching of what we really wanted in a RV.
I work away from home as a Project Manager on Gas Transmission and Processing Facilities in Western Canada and use my unit as my home away from home from April to October. This year my wife decided to retire from her job so that she could travel with me for some of the time. Thus our selection of the Trilogy as it is like living at home.

I'll try to keep up my part and provide as much info as I can and time permits.

KD

Congrats and welcome to the forum.

We got to tour the Trilogy last year at the FROG Rally Goshen. A lot of envy here. A very nice rig.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
I can hardly wait to pick up the new unit and head out on my first trip of the year with it. Depending on weather I might have to wait a few weeks until the RV Park is fully functional.
We had looked at A LOT of units before making our decision to buy a Trilogy. We think they are the nicest unit in their class.

That thing is, as we used to say, "Bossa Nova."

Talking "Bossa Nova - Trilogy"

I do suppose it could be considered "Leading Edge"
What drew my attention to the Trilogy was the lack of decals.
Inside they are much like many others.
