Wink New TT owner in Minnesota

We are the proud owners of 2011 2102w windjammer. So far it is parked in our driveway awaiting it's first outing. We are hoping for this weekend. Is there anyone else that owns this size camper (21') with back slideout. We would love to hear how it handles on long trips, specifically in the mountains? Any information would be helpfull. We are have a E150 Ford Conversion Van that we are using to tow. From dealer to home(flat w/small hills) it did fine. Not sure about a 12000' pass in Colorado. Any feedback would be helpful

Welcome! I live in MN also! We have a 23' Surveyor with a rear slide that we pull with an '05 F150. It handles it fine. We've been in the mountains many times with this combo. Some of the steepest hills require 2nd gear and pull us down to 35 to 40 mph but that is not common; rather it is the exception. You'll be fine.

Better get out there quick! These unusual 80s will be gone SOON!! You'll need to winterize before long. Nightly freezes will be here soon.

Have fun!
