Cool New unit, old rv'er. New member.

Good afternoon all.
My earliest memories of Rv'ing are from about 1964. My Grandparents bought a new Aloha TT. I have been actively Rv'ing ever since. I have owned many. Bought my first one at 19 in 1979. It was a 1978 20 1/2 Comfort, I was on cloud 9. My biggest one was a 35 foot triple axel I bought new in 1994, had that one for 12 years. I currently own three Rv's.
Why? I have no idea. Although I did learn a valuable lesson on this one. NEVER bring your wife to an RV show. My new one is a 2018 295QSL8 Arctic Wolf, Cherokee 5th wheel. It has an awful lot of bang for the buck but seriously lacks in finish quality. I am crossing my fingers the rest of the unit does not suffer from the same lack of build skill. I have significant experience in the marine industry as well as in the RV industry (some years ago). I am 58 going on 30 and work at Boeing in Everett WA. Happy trails to you all!
Pat.

Best of luck.

Completed our maiden voyage yesterday.

Rained five days in a row.

Could not be happier. Needed the time to figure out the new fifth wheel. Our first.

Just to make it fun Cedar Creek forgot the manual. Oh yea, had the stupid how to disc. However, the only thing we could not figure out was the DVD player.

But the beer was cold, the food was great and the bed first rate plus. Twelve gallons of hot water was enough for the DW and me.

Even got the wifi router and outside antenna to work.

Surprisingly our Cedar Creek was delivered almost perfect. So far two missing screws. And the toilet paper roll holder is too small!
