Hello everyone, I am the new proud owner of a 2011 Freedom Express 17RB.
I am a retired Navy Master Chief, however I am still working with the State of Georgia. There is a ton of information on this website and I have learned quite a bit just from reading the threads. Thank You all. I've checked out all the, to me, easy systems and everything is working correctly. The system I'm having problems with is the water ie. I filled up the water tank, turn on the water pump and open the faucet and no water. Also the user manual indicates the RV has water filters, where?! City water no problem, all good. I'm assuming there is a valve somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mike
Many Rvs have a valve on the inlet of the water pump that allows you to draw antifreeze from a gallon jug vs the water tank. If this valve is still open the pump will be drawing air from that line. Open the compartment where the water pump is and look for a 1/4 turn valve with two inlets ( one FW tank and the other a short hose for antifreeze intake. Turn 1/4 turn and try again.

I had a minimal walk around when I bought the camper.Honestly, I don't know where the water pump, valves or filter is located. I'm getting a little frustrated, but I don't want to start tearing panels apart without more information. The military Tech. manuals were alot better than the civilian ones.
