New Wildcat

Just bought new Wildcat yesterday trying to give it a good shakedown. So far so good only real problems was too windy for auto level ( not too mention supposed to be level before using auto level ) and DVD hooked up wrong. First time pulling a 5th wheel should I feel a "jerking" when towing especially when starting out did great around 65 -70 mpg any thoughts would be appreciated

We also have a wildcat 5er. You should be able to pull it without even knowing it is back there. There could be a few reasons for the chucking. Is your 5er level or are you riding high, weight distribution, hitch, pin, etc. I would probably keep it under 70 until I found the reason but even then I try not to go that fast but that was a whole other thread that was recently discussed.

Thanks for the info I agree on keeping the speed lower here in West Texas the limit is 75 or even 80 West of Odessa tires and fuel suffer at higher speeds. I had very little chucking today and nothing changed weight wise or with how I hooked up. I researched a few of your points and realize i had my last trailer dialed in with my truck between weight distribution hitch height of ball etc just gonna be a learning process again. Must say enjoyed the Wildcat biggest downfall it might be nicer than my house and my hiking outdoors partner didn't want to leave its confines
