New Windjammer

After seven years with a Rockwood Pop-up and the kids off to college, my DW and I decided to move up to a travel trailer. We settled on the 3008 Windjammer with the front kitchen and have loved the floorplan and options. There are two dealers in our area, both about 40 miles away in opposite directions. One dealer had done great work with our pop-up and the other dealer had a 2012 model 3008 in stock with a reduced price. So, in March we went with the reduced price dealer. In early May, we de-winterized and went camping. Then the water woes began; not leaks, just chronic dribbling, frothy pressure which the dealer claimed was typical and suggested a bigger water pump. But more about that later.

This is our first post, though I've been obsessively reading posts since March.
I think I want to be like Herk (? spelling) when I get done growing up!

Welcome to the forum... My in-laws just last week got their 3008 they had ordered. It was a close call for us (3001 vs 3008) when we were buying. We would have been happy with either and they had the 3001 in stock that we liked. Very nice rig.
