New with a question (already!)

Hello to all! Husband and I are picking up our new 2013 Rockwood 2910ts next week and are sooo excited! We are former tent campers and are looking forward to the upgrade. This looks like an amazing forum with tons of great information and I'm sure I will be picking everyone's brains often!

So my first dumb question is this, our trailer is equipped with a 44" booth dinette but I fail to understand the length (or width) of it. I'm hoping my 5'5 daughter will fit on it. Does anyone know the other measurement of these? Thanks so much!

Welcome to the forums, our trailer has the same dinette and it measures 6' head to toe. Enjoy the trailer.

Thanks so much Coops! That's exactly the information I was looking for. Was so busy checking everything else out when we looked at it, I overlooked this important detail. Thanks again!

Congratulations on your new RV. I took delievery on my 2910TS on 4/1. (no April fools). My first trip was 4/4-4/7. We have the emerald package. Love this roomy trailer, including the bathroom.

At least I know when I get out of the shower I don't feel like I stepped into a telephone booth.

We purchase two 24" folding bar stools for the island. (Mainstays Folding Metal Stool, Black: Furniture : Walmart.com).

Don't like having two sewer outlets. This required a "Y" to drain the holding tanks. Have alread added two MaxxAir II vent covers.

Have fun and please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Wow! Thanks for all the kind replies! Picking up tt next Thursday and can't wait!

Thanks for all the info NiteNoise, was wondering on stool height for the island. It looks like Wally World has a pretty good selection (and may go with the exact ones you purchased) I'm assuming you meant a Y connector for the 2 graywater tanks? That feature seemed kind of silly to me also. As to the Maxx Air vent covers, dumb question but what/where are those used? Thanks for the "real world" info, it is very appreciated!

Welcome Tbred! We went from tent camping to a pop-up and now a TT. You won't be sorry for your upgrade!

Essentially, the Maxx Air vent covers will let you vent your trailer while it's raining. We keep the vent open while driving for ventilation/circulation.
