New with some questions

Hello just joined the forum.We traded our 2003 Fourwind Infinity class A, for a used Forest River 2012 V-Lite 30WKFSS.Been away from a TT for awhile and have to get use to all the new changes.Our last TT was a 1992 26' Jayco which we really enjoyed.Hoping to do alot more camping then we've been doing because of the fuel prices.I have a question about the levelers.This coach came with power stabilizers,but don't level it.What kind of levelers can I use besides the old fashion method of wood boards.Seems this coach is of lite construction and have to be carefull where to place them. Could use any help or ideas i can get .thanks

Welcome! I am not the one to answer your questions, but I thought I would mention the stacking cubes that are sturdy and offer a variety of levels for leveling. My husband had taken care of that part, I just set it up while he backs onto them.
One thing I can remind you--do back onto the levelers. That way, when you move out, you are going forward and don't have to watch all the obstacles that might be in the rear. One of our neighbors lost an awning because someone was backing off of leveling blocks...and missed the rv, but not the awning.
Also, you might think about something long enough and wide enough to support both tires on a side. I understand there is less stress on a tire that way.

You'll still need to use boards or lego blocks under the wheels of the low side of the camper to level side to side and raise/lower the front jack to level it front to back.

The stabilizers, power or manual, are used the stabilize, not to level the camper.

Hello and to the forums! I've been lucky to park on pretty ground so I have very limited experience with trying to level the trailer - sorry I can't offer any answer to your question.

I have found that the use of a few 2x10's cut from about 4 foot down to allow for a ramped surface to make it easier to back up on. The lego blocks are nice but like the tires on my new camper are close enough together to make it impractical to use them because of the number I would need to make it wide enough for both tires. 2x10's are much cheaper for me and you can stack 2, 3 or 4 to make the height adjustment you need.

Dave_Monica is correct that you need to use tires to level side to side and tongue jack front to back and the four corner jacks are for stabilizing only not to level at all.
