Newb from Burlington KY!

Hello all,
I am new on the scene with 2 trips and 2 popups under my belt. My family and I have wanted a camper for some time, but were not really financially prepared. Well one Sunday a friend of mine called and said he had a Jayco popup for me. It was a 1985 from his BIL and it was only $200, I could have it for the dealer trade in value. I quickly said I would take it, and since my buddy owed me a few $$ I was getting it for no cash out of pocket. I took my family out on our first trip and we were hooked. We had a great time and were looking forward to many more trips. So here comes the next part, I live in KY and the camper came from OH. In order to get the title done, we had to do a one time fire inspection for $100.00. I started to clean up the camper and look it over and realized it had its flaws, and no A/C or restroom for my girls. I figured at this point I am out of pocket $0, but if i transfer title I am out real cash. The out of state inspection was at a local RV dealer so I figured lets look and decide. We fell in love with a Wildwood X-lite 281 BH and decided to go for it. Price was right, we would have to pay for storage but what the heck. I have a Honda Ridgeline, and quickly figured with a #5000 max towing capacity this was just too unsafe. I went home and thought it over some more and decided to give popups another chance. They had 2 leftover 2011 M 6149s with similar equipment, for a great price. I struck a deal, and 3 days later went on our second trip! We are getting ready for our third trip soon, and the A/C and restroom make my girls real happy campers.
