Hi All,
After months of research and weeks of negotiation we have finally ordered our 2012 Flagstaff 831BHDS. It will be ready for us in about two weeks. We will be driving about 400miles to pick it up and then camping for the night there to fix any problems we may have before driving home.
We are used to tent camping, but this will be our first travel trailer! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Triple call them before you leave to make sure rv is ready. Pack for worst but hope for best. Do I heck of a walk through and ask too many qiestions. When camping use all applicances and make sure to check over build quailty. Otherwise should be good since you owned one already

Congrats on your member to your family.

Recommend upgrading the sewer hose from the extra light weight one that tend to come in the "New Owner" package. Walmart does sell some RV items in the auto section which is cheaper than Camping World.

If the trailer will be stored at home practice setting it up in the driveway. When you do head out to a campground remember that most RVers are willing to help so feel free to ask questions. This is a good reason to get out and meet your cg neighbors.
