In Sept we purchased a 2016 23DBH which is parked in a seasonal park Unfotunately we could only use it a few times before the park closed and the park owner winterized it for us.
Im looking forward to Spring and the start of out first season of campng and making memories. Im also excited to learn about our trailer and some tips and tricks we are brand new to this

Welcome to FRF!

It always helps to include what the brand is, since many brands often share the same model number.

Welcome from Wisconsin. 10 years as seasonal campers after travelling all over when the kids were at home. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people to assist you, so just ask! Do a search for the Seasonal Camping thread as there is alot of good info. Enjoy your 2016 23DBH!

No, slides are 12v and work from battery power alone (assuming you have a well charged battery).

Welcome 'camping now'... 1st post.

Would you care to clarify your very first contribution to the forum of burning up your slide motors if not hooked to 110v?

I've run my slides (motors, which are 12v by the way) in and out hundreds of times over the last 30 years in 5 different units. Many of those times just using the on-board battery or when hooked to the tow vehicle. No problem to date.

EDIT:
camping now,
Are you asking a question or making a statement?
