Newbie from Canada

We are so new we are still reading manuals. One corner of power awning dropped down in rain the other night to release rain is this something that should be happening.

The corner will drop to drain the rain so that you don't get too much weight on the awning and damage either the fabric or the mechanism. Just don't be standing under that corner admiring the weather when it happens.

If you have the adjustable arms on your awning, you should be dropping one end when it rains. That way it is foolproof, and eliminates the chance of damaging the awning.

Welcome to the forum from another Ontarian or Ontarioite or whatever you call us. Now where in the heck is Chesterville. I can't believe I have never heard of it. There is a place near where we live called Chesterfield but all it has is a couple of houses, a United church and a graveyard. Good luck with your rig and happy camping. Old Guys

Awning did that to us last night after some rain. Took a hike out of us.
