Smile Newbie from Illinois

Just got our first RV (not counting the pop-up we had when the kids were small). We got a 2003 30 ft Hurricane from the Chicagoland Camping World dealer. It's in great shape and appears to have visited many a Nascar track. We have already reserved campsites for May and July and look forward to heading to central Wisconsin with it when we visit one of the kids. One of my sons used to sell RVs in Phoenix and says RVers are a very friendly group. We look forward to meeting some new friends on our outings.

Welcome to the forum, Roaddogs, and congrats on your new-to-you Hurricane.

Whereabouts in WI do you plan to camp?

Amery is up there alright. It's a bit northeast of the Twin Cities. Pretty area.

I've never been to that KOA in DeForest but I like the area around Madison in general. We travel through DeForest whenever we make our way to Devils Lake or the Dells.

Have fun with your trips!

Welcome to FRF and your new-to-you motorhome.

just so you know, the Hurricane is made by Thor Industries, not Forest River.
so, you'll get lots of help here on general RV things but not on specifics to your particular model of RV.
