Newbie from Kentucky

Hello from KY

We just picked up our first camper on Saturday, Feb. 18th, which is a 2017 Rockwood Mini Lite model 2104S. Previously were tent campers and this is our first experience of pulling anything behind the truck.

Don't turn corners short....that's my welcome advice! Got flustered in a campground and got in a hurry....didn't notice the ditch and turned short as I thought it was open grass. The horrible boom and scraping sound while I pulled the rear end on the gravel until it climbed out remind me not to turn short. Only minor damage so a good lesson

Welcome from Iowa! Just be careful and take your time until you get used to the trailer being back there. Don't let other drivers fluster you and keep a careful eye out when in the campgrounds or other tight areas. Don't let people rush you. Some rude people in this world and everyone needs to learn patience.

Welcome!

If you're into hiking you live in the heart of some great places to hike and
camp!
Cumberland Gap National Historic park.
Daniel Boone National Forest
Red River Gorge National Geological Area
Big South Fork Wild Scenic River
Mammoth Cave National Park (There's LOTS of hiking and biking besides a big hole in the ground!!)
Hoosier National Forest
Did I mention that Kentucky has more state parks and historical sites than
any other state??
I could go on.....

Happy Trails!!
