Newbie from Louisiana

Should be receiving our 25RR by mid-February. First time owner. Have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks and getting many great ideas. And I am sure I will be having many questions. Actually posted some already. Thanks in advance for your help

welcome rgdds. there is a lot of good information on here.
before u plug it in, make sure u have water in the water heater (check at the relief). i bought at a show and at some point the water was truned on and i had to use propane the first trip out.
u may want to take it on a short trip for a shake down before u really get out and about...even if it is ur driveway.
you should get many years of enjoyment out of the new toy.

Congrats on your new 25RR. As you probably already found out there are alot of friendly, knowledgable, and helpful people here so any ?'s just ask away. Pick someplace close for your first trip, maybe even Camp Driveway if you can. That way you're not too far from home in case you forget to bring anything.

Welcome to the forums and the Forest River family. Let me know if you have any plans to drive up to the north part............of Louisiana, as we have some great parks up here.

Welcome. I know you are going to enjoy RVing. The tough part of RVing are the times you don't drag your wagon behind you when you go somewhere. It is so nice taking your lunches/dinners, refilling the drink cups, and knowing you have a really clean bathroom with you.

One good tip is learning how to use the YP app on your phone. It has always helped us locate a cheaper fuel stop alone our route. One other slick thing was using Google satellite views of the service station to make sure we could get near the pumps.

We just did our first two days camping in 2013. It is hard to believe we did 50 days last year though a few of them was because of Hurricane Issac. So with the power out our RV lifeboat made life pretty comfortable.

Welcome to the forums! I'm also a first time owner but didn't find this site until about 6 months later. I do recommend a really good & detailed PDI. Take notes and pics and keep asking questions until you understand. And remember that we are here to help too.
