Newbie from Md

Hello all,
New member from Md. I've been Rving for a few years but just purchased a new Forest River 8528 RLWS and wanted to join the forums and get acquainted with other F.R. owners and hope to get/share some insight.

Hey Jeff. I am also a newbie from MD, this is my first post. We just bought a used Rockwood Roo 23ss and have our first trip planned this weekend to break it in. Then in two weeks we are headed to Castaways in OC for a few days. How about you? Anything good planned.

Rick

Hey Rick,
I am still getting the camper straight, we picked it up Tuesday from Pa. I have no plans yet as I'm still working out a few bugs with the new camper, mainly the tv signal, no signal at all on either tv so I will be pulling the booster plate tomorrow and checking the connections.

Let me know how Castaways is, never heard of it before. I stayed at Fort Whaley a few years back and it was nice, outside the hustle and bustle of OC itself but close enough to still do everything.

Jeff,

Castaways is right by the OC airport so it is kind of away from the hustle and bustle of OC. Has a private beach, tiki bar etc. I have never been but some friends recommended it. I feel lucky to have even gotten a reservation, I must have book right as someone else cancelled. Looking forward to all the possibilities with our RV.

Thanks for the info, we will be heading out in about two weeks and may check there for availability, close to the slots too!

Enjoy the trip

Way down south, where land ends. Right outside of Pax River.
