Newbie from MN

After waiting (too many) years to own a TT I have made the jump. Bought the Shamrock 21DK. Not sure if I bit off more than I can chew but, I am very much looking forward to the new adventures and memories camping will bring. I will be parking in an RV park this summer so that I can get to know the camper inside and out before adventuring on the road.
I'm sure I will lots of questions in the future.
Happy Camping All

Welcome to the forum from south of the Twin Cities. Is the RV park in MN? Be prepared to burn through a lot of propane Ours is in storage until spring.
Have fun.

Hi Mitch,
Parking it in a small park just outside of Becker MN. If I have full hookup will I still use a lot of propane?
Thanks Much!

I always thought the now common electric fireplace was silly.

Not true. We use it a lot. That and a second small $20 heater.

Set the furnace to 60 and the electric heaters to 68. Thus we burn less propane when plugged in.

In temps above 40 we burn little propane!

Welcome from your neighbor to the south in IA.
We too are new to this. Just bought our TT this summer and have only camped a night or 2 a few times locally.
However, we take off early Jan for 3 months camping from Fl to AZ! It’s going to be an experience and we are ready and prepared.
We did as you mentioned, getting to know the TT inside and out before taking the leap.
Maybe see you on the road sometime.

You can heat with electric, but anything not warmed above freezing will freeze. Im thinking of ur water lines, gray and black tanks, water hose to camper, drains under camper, etc. we’re having a warm spell so read up on winter camping tricks in a trailer.
