Hi we just got our new 2013 Salem 30QBSS and slowly getting our stuff together, this is our very first travel trailer and dreamed about it long enough.
We are Holland retired Air Force MSgt after 24 years and is now trucking for the time been, Maria is a stay at home mom and works part time retail. Three children, two boys who are in the Air Force and a daughter who is in middle school.
Dog Chloe who will be coming with us on trips (says the wife) and two cats who are more then happy to stay home.
When this crazy weather makes up its mind we will be doing a test run and camp at the locale park to learn the ins and outs and just incase we forgot something or run into trouble.
I think our daughter (13 years) is more excited about the trailer this way she can bring some friends and have company, she is missing her brothers even if she said she does not.
Looking forward to read some posts and learn on the way.

Welcome neighbor! Just up the road in Apex, I did my 4 years in the Air Force. Jordan Lake is a good shake down cruise, if you forget anything, Beaver Creek is just down the road. Good luck and have fun.
