Newbie Helio!!

Hi all!! Just returned from a trip through northern CA, Oregon and Washington. We towed our new Salem Cruiselite 28Fter with our 04 Tahoe which did an awesome job!!!

Does anyone know how big the galley tank is? It seemed to fill awefully quickly. We are considering for times where we don't have hook up, to place a bucket in the kitchen sink so we can dump the water in the tub (grey water). Other than that issue, we LOVE our new trailer!! Attached is a pic of our ride, if I attached it correctly : )

Hi and welcome surfpup.
I just checked other Salem's and they seem to only have 32-34 gal grey water tanks. I'm sure the small size is figured in to help keep your weight lower to tow. I used to have a Rockwood Ultra lite and all 3 tanks were smaller than other bigger heavier trailers.
Looks like you got out of the NW just in time as all I hear is snow forecasts.

Where is your base camp area or actual home?

Hi, thanks for the reply! we live in Northern California near Sacramento and have family up in north eastern Washington. For newbie trailer owners, we learned quickly how to handle 30mph (+) winds, rain, and left just before the snow started. We had a blast and the trailer handled like a champ. We had 2 sway bars and a weight distribution hitch... The set up made a big difference, I'm sure although we've never towed without them. It was a big trip to undertake for our first time out, but we learned a lot and feel very comfortable with our trailer and towing now. : )
