Newbie - Oneonta, NY

Just upgraded from a Jayco Hybrid to a new 2016 Forest River Cherokee 274dbh! It's a great setup and hopefully we won't get the upgrade bug again for sometime. My family likes camping in the Lake George area and would be open to any suggestions of family & pet friendly camgrounds in the area.

Oneonta is beautiful country. I'd just drive over to the Brooks BBQ parking lot, set up some chairs, open a brew and call it a day. Congrats and enjoy!

Brooks is a destination for a lot of people and don't get me wrong, great food. But if you live here, there's only so much of it you can eat. There's a lot of great eateries in Oneonta.

Congratulations on the new camper. We live on Long Island but my parents have a cabin in Westford. We have been going up there for the last 20 years. Beautiful area Oneanta and Cooperstown.
