Newbie question

Hello
Just got home with my new Mini light and plugged in to power.
A fan started running below fuse box. Inverter fan? It has been running for about an hour. Should it stop at some point when it cools? or should it run all the time?
Thanks

That's the cooling fan on your converter. It is under heavy load cooling the converter while it is charging up the batteries. Should stop in 2 hours at the most.
BTW, converter not inverter. Inverter changes 12 volts to 110, doubt you have one on your Mini Lite.

The fan is in the converter that changes 120 VAC to 12 VDC to charge the battery and operate the 12VDC equipment (fridge & furnace "brains," hot water heater, 12 VDC lights and vent fans, AC & furnace thermostat, electric jack if you have one, slide out if you have one, etc.) Usually the fan runs when you put more than a minimal load on the system. It will also run if the battery is low on charge and the converter is recharging it.

Assuming you're not running a bunch of lights, I'd guess the dealer recently installed your battery and it is not fully charged. Once it's charged, the converter fan will probably shut off.

ditto on what they said.

And your trailer has a CONverter, not an INverter.

all RVs have converters, few come with inverters.
