Newbie saying Hi.

We took a big step today and bought a like new 2007 FR Georgetown 378TS. Found it at a small RV sales lot in East Mesa Arizona. Only 10,300 miles on the Ford V10. This is our first Class A. We had an older Class C for about a year but this way out classes that. We had a Cardinal 38' 5th wheel for a couple of years but only used it to stay in while we worked on our property in Northern Arizona. Down graded to a small travel trailer and now the Georgetown. Going to be moving soon to North Central Missouri so will be living in it till spring then build a house with an RV garage. After that, we plan on touring the country. Thank for the group and will be going thru all the sections. Any advice/experience would be appreciated.

Bob

Any idea how that Georgetown will hold up to living in it in Missouri winter?

It has double pane windows all around and the thermal package for cold weather with the heated basement so should do well. We will be building a 40X60 foot Morton building garage to put it in along with our two vehicles. That will use half of the building and the other half we will make a house in. Then it will be totally protected.

Welcome to the forum from Missouri Congratulations on the 2007 FR Georgetown 378TS. I have a 04 Georgetown 370 with 6500 miles on it and like it pretty well. Sounds like you have a pretty good idea about building a garage and a house. Good luck and happy camping.
