Newbies: Expecting!

Funny...feeling like "expectant parents"...just ordered our first travel trailer! Hate we are having to wait til mid June to get our new Salem Cruise Lite, but we wanted a certain model (262BHXL) that dealers don't carry in our area. At least it'll be brand new, not having tires that have been sitting on a lot for several months, plus we got to pick out colors & options and got a heckuva deal (we've been looking for two years now.)

Any tips are more than welcome! I'm trying to make a list of necessities to what to purchase in advance.

Michael & Dawn Ayers

Congrats!!! I know exactly how you feel...we ordered our hybrid mid-January, and hopefully it should be ready in the next few weeks!! We were tent campers, so this is our first trailer. I've done a ton of reading and have learned a lot from this forum. My husband has bought all the stuff that we will need in order to be able to use the trailer, and I get to buy all the fun stuff when we finally have it!!

I've done many google searches to see what things we will need, and the folks here offered great suggestions as well. Amazon has been our best friend over the past few months!!

Welcome form Wisconsin and congrats on your new Salem Cruise Lite. It's worth ordering and waiting to get exactly what you want.
