Well we purchased our first RV ( Georgetown 328TS ) last month and just got back from our "shakedown" cruise. Wife and I have had "happy feet" all our lives and been around the world several times. Now we want to see parts of this great country we have not seen! I must admit it is kinda fun driving between semi-trailers at 65mph! Managed to survive with no major explosions or fires. Only major screwup was unhooking the tow car without setting the parking brake! Managed to open the door and set the park brake as the car was rolling backward toward a lake. The fellow RV'ers at the park were very friendly and helpful! Lots to learn for us but lots of nice people to help. Making a "checklist" for now until I can remember all the procedures. Only mechanical problem seems to be the "inverter". It is not working at all ( no power to it ) and had to run generator on the road to keep the Residential fridge cold.
Anyway, we are excited about future destinations and anxious to learn from all the experienced folks on this forum.
