Newbies from GA

Hi guys, just wanted to introduce ourselves. We've posted a few times around the forum and have gotten some great info.

We have officially taken the plunge and bought a Sierra "Tree House". We will pick it up next week and we're extremely excited to get started . Our plan at this point is to leave sometime around the end of June for a full-timing adventure!

Our crew consists of myself, my wife, and our two boys aged 11 and 6 and our dog Buddy.

Have we RV'd before? no...
Have we home schooled before? no...
Are we crazy? yes!
Are we happy and excited? You betcha!

Thanks for all the helpful info and we'll see you down the road!

Congrats on the new camper and again, welcome to the forum. Hope you have many fun and trouble free trips. I'm sure the boys will love it- ours did and still do (they are now 35 and 32 with families of their own who all love to come with us).

Thanks guys for the welcome.

However, now I have another question. The dealer called us yesterday and told us there was a hole in the roof. Apparently its pretty small and is in the side (vertical face) where the roof turns down and meets the side of the camper. This seemed unusual to me for them to tell us about this after we had bought it, but that aside, what is y'all's take on patching or replacing and are we setting ourselves up for some warranty issues down the road? My first inclination is to have them replace the whole roof but I'm not sure that's the best thing to do. Worst case, we can still get out of the deal but we really don't want to do that for several reasons.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
