Newbie's from the great state of Kansas

We got our 2014 Cherokee 264L-PB a few weeks ago, best decision we've made in awhile. Been really enjoying the RVing life style well beside the "I'll never camp again" moment at my first dump station. We have been reading and learning a lot from this forum, thanks to all those who posts it's a huge deal for us newbies.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum. We just spent a week running around your state: Eisenhower Presidential Museum/Library, Atchison, Ft. Leavenworth/Ft. Riley/Ft. Scott.

Lots of friendly, helpful and knowledgable folks on the forum. Anything you need to know, just ask...somebody will have an answer for you.

Again,

Mike, I didn't know you'd gone up to Atchison. I've spent some time there myself.

Went up to see Amelia Earhart's birthplace and the campus at Benedictine. Musta' missed the "Bob Byrne Memorial Hall" on the campus. Pretty much of the campus looks new.

Brand-new bridge over the MO river there...just opened the week we were in town.

Welcome from the NE part of the state. My Dad was born and raised in West Mineral, the home of Big Brutus. I spent many summers there at my grandparents cabin on the Neosho river. I haven't been for over five years, but my parents make a trip every year to see family still in the area. Can you help solve a family disagreement? Which do you prefer, Chicken Annie's or Chicken Mary's? My Dad and cousins get into an argument over this every year.
