Newbies in SW WI

Hey y'all!!
Relaxing, wildlife, great people, beautiful view.
We seasoned this our first year as RV owners in SW WI which is beautiful!!
Great way to try out everything. We did get parking practice because our seasonal site was not ready upon arrival for guest week so we moved around 5 times before settling. One of the offered sites was WAY TO UNEVEN for us newbies and we saw some pros having issues with leveling. We ended up in a great spot close to the lake which we can see from our site. We are convenient to stuff so no golf cart yet. We DO plan on getting a pontoon boat though. We have motorcycles in this area (3 hours from our home) for many years and feel blessed to be there each weekend now in our own "home". This is an awesome experience so far. Only issue of concern is mentioned in my post titled "Service Agreement vs Warranty". We learned a lot this past season and look forward to learning more.
Funny thing that happened:
We were so excited at the first site that we carefully hooked everything up but no sewer there only to be told we had water leaking out of a rear compartment. Well we turned on the water to the water heater but forgot to screw in the anode which is now rusted into place. Lesson: screw anode in BEFORE turning water on to water heater!!😉😊

Glad you are enjoying your RV. Best way to relax is setting around a campfire sipping a hot cup of coffee and telling campfire stories. Pop some popcorn over the open fire and enjoy the company.
