Newbies to RVing! From eastern Connecticut and Ohio
Hello everybody!
My wife and I are completely new to the RV lifestyle. We went to the fabulous Hershey show and came home with a beautiful coachman galleria 24Q . We still have not taken or first trip, but we’ll probably head back to the Buckeye state in a a couple weeks. Do you have any advice on the best way to “boondock”?

Looks like you have a Generator and Big/Good batterys so you could Boondock anywhere, the Only downside is "Black/Gray/Fresh"tanks capacity! Where in Cinncy do you live? Youroo!! PS make sure your tanks can be used in "COLD/Freezing" conditions, down the road and parked!

Yep, with a generator, power won't be an issue.
But water supply and gray tank disposal will be an issue, depending on tank sizes.
Black tanks generally take longer to fill. Unless you're boondocking in one spot for an extended time, they shouldnt be a concern.

Welcome to the forum from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. You are going to have a really hard time boondocking in Ohio this time of year. You will only be able to do it if your new rig is fully winterized. You really don't want to deal with poopcicles.

Welcome and congratulations on your new RV.
To prevent you black water tank from freezing, pour a gallon of RV antifreeze down the drain. The grey water tanks does not freeze as easily because the warm water from the sink/shower flows into it. Make sure you dump the tanks on your way home and winterize your RV when you get home (unless you park it in a heated barn).
