Nice To Meet You All

We've owned a Rockwood MiniLite ETC 181 since the fall of 2011 and have put a lot of miles on it with no problems and a lot of wonderful memories. I added three little container shelves to the end of the wardrobe cabinet for "stuff." Cut the paneling off and replaced it with 1/4" plywood that I stained to match the Tuscan Cream color. Was pretty simple addition and very handy. You have to look very closely to see it isn't original.

We took the trailer to Iowa in the fall of 2012 and to Glacier National Park this past fall after taking every-other-week trips all summer to our favorite places in the eastern Sierra for kayaking (car top hauling), hiking and bicycling. I crafted a hitch receiver and welded it to the spare tire bracket and use a squirrel-tail bike rack for our bikes.

This year the radio failed, but the DVD player works fine. I worked in the electronics field many years ago, but no longer have the necessary testing equipment to identify what failed. The manufacturer of the radio wants way too much for a replacement (our model is not made any longer), so unless there's someone on this Forum that's had a similar problem and repaired it, I guess we'll go without radio.

Well, enough for an introduction. I probably won't be a regular on this forum, but if anyone has a solution to the radio issue, please drop me a line at Thanks.

Thanks. Great minds think alike. I like the portable solution if I can find one with a line output to plug into the Concertone unit front panel.
