No Longer a Lurker

Hi everyone! I've been reading through these forums for a few months and joined while we were waiting to pickup our 2013 Stealth SS1812 toy hauler. I should have followed the rules and introduced myself last month, but I'm the ultimate procrastinator.

My husband John and I are Air Force retirees, 21 years for me, 22 for John. Between us we were stationed in 10 states and 5 different countries and may have crossed paths during our careers. I recently returned to school to work on a computer network administration degree while John is trying to wind down his career as a Senior Training Manager in preparation for full-time retirement. We met through a mutual friend almost 3 years ago and share a love for riding our Harleys, camping, and spending time with family. Kids are grown, but I try to stay involved with 6 grandkids.

We're still relative newbies to RVing and I appreciate all of the advice and ideas I've been finding here. I hope as time goes by we can be just as helpful to someone else in the future.

Welcome aboard! Seems we are on a "good will tour" as we plan on a 2 day'er at DM to visit the museum and do the boneyard tour.

Maybe you can stop by the FAMCAMP for a beer!

Herk, let me know your dates. I drive into Tucson about twice a month and the DM commissary is usually one of my stops. The DM Famcamp is pretty nice, the older sites have mature trees and I think they may have planted some in the overflow, but it's usually empty in August.
