No more tenting in Mn

Hello all, looks like a great group of people here. Just bought or first camper; a Forest River Grey Wolf, Patriot Edition 28bh. We pick it up a week from today and are super excited to start our RVing career.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Minnesotan! Keep reading this forum-there is a lot to be learned as you begin your RV hobby. Congratulations on the new Grey Wolf! Now if you could just arrange for some warm weather to melt the snow....

Another welcome from Minnesota! Nice unit you are getting there. What is the patriot edition?

I'm with Gus. You've negotiated a deal for the camper now help us out with the weather! :-)

Thanks everyone!

We're working on the weather but clearly failing!

The Patriot edition we purchased is the same as the Grey Wolf by Forest River, but essentially rebranded by AC Nelson out of Shakopee as their own, which makes it a little more affordable.

We're so excited to start camping and we're working on putting together the necessities for the new trailer. It's not as easy as buying a car! Garbage cans, dish soap, sheets, towels, utinsels, cleaning supplies, etc...it's a lot to take in!

Oh yes. Lots of thing to get. After 11 years in a popup we had the routine down to a science. My thoughts were we would need little to nothing as we were already to go. All winter I’ve been getting packages delivered that are must have items. With winter as it is we haven’t been out yet. I’m sure the list will grow. Hope you enjoy the process of realizing…”we sure could use something for that…when I get home I’m going to buy…”.

As for your effort to alter the weather. Yeah. Work smarter not harder! I really could have used some better weather for tomorrow. Delivery date of my new camper. Bleh. Who knew it would be 25 degrees below average temperature and nothing but white snow everywhere.

Hope you have that first camping trip on the calendar!

Another Welcome from MN. I drive by a Grey Wolf every day on hwy 55 near Rockford Loretto area. It's parked in a driveway. Yup winter still has a stronghold here in the great white north. 2 degrees outside as I am typing this.

Another MN welcome! Winter is REALLY hanging on this year! We're hooking up and pulling South right after Easter Sunday; looking for something warmer for a few weeks.

Enjoy your new camper! MN/WI/MI are great places to camp. Itasca and Scenic are great state parks.
