We love our Malibus. Sit on top fishing yaks. Super sturdy and stable. Lots of storage, wet and dry wells. Ours have "gator seats" so the younger kids can sit on them.

Yeah would be nice to meet up with some fellow Floridians. We haven't decided on what to do in Aug. July we are spending several days at Patrick AFB Beach Houses with friends. Let us know what some of your plans are after May.

We are going to Fort Desoto the last weekend of June and down to the keys the weekend after. We don't have any trips after that planed, however were thinking of hosting a camping meetup for friends and members a couple of times this year. I just posted a thread to see how many Florida members are around and I can start trying to get a group together. Hopefully you can join!

We are hikers and love geochacing Have camped at Alafia River while not many trees it is a great park. We love Lake Kissimmee Not crazy about Hillsborough River State Park to many wild kids. We did find a great county park outside of Orlando called Moss Park big sites level sites and lots of shade and deer walk through the campground. Rangers are very nice. Have also done O'Leno and Stephen Foster. Medard Park is a county park near Tampa and is a fun get away. We live in Brandon a suburb of Tampa

We live about 16 miles from Moss Park. It is nice but doesn't allow dogs and we take ours with us camping. Lots cheaper than boarding them.

We love to get out in nature and enjoy it. Love hiking and working our way into kayaking/canoeing. After years of working in cubicles and room with now windows we try to spend as much time outside as possible.

We litterly live 5 minutes from Blue Springs SP. We have 2 small dogs. The oldest which is Zoe starts limping after a while of hiking. As you can see in the picture, the stroller was our solution. Works great, and we can hike anywhere with this.

Ok I see the photos of our dogs made it after all. The first photo is Sheba she is 12.5 and does not like to walk or hike. When camping she does her business and is ready to go back to the trailer. The 2nd photo is Ginger she is 11.5 and as long as it is cool she will walk for up to 5 miles. In that photo she is licking her lips after having raided my tomato plant. Both of them love veggies.

Norm and Phyllis we have camped at Blue Spring but need to get back and try again.

So many parks and so little time
