Old Hands but new to a 2012 Flagstaff 21FBRS

Howdy folks! the wife and I are old hands at this camping thing, started out tent camping, then backpacking(two boys through Boy Scouts), back to car camping then to a pop-up trailer then to a Trail-lite Travel Trailer and now to a 2012 Flagstaff 21 FBRS trailer. Been browsing the forums here and do see lots of good info. Plan to mine as much info as I can to make our camping adventures fun adventures and not the "Why am I doing this" adventure. A little about us, I am a Training Instructor at Great Lakes Naval Training Center teaching Basic Electronics, Retired Chief US Navy. My wife is a Collections Specialist for a major shipping supply firm in the area. Our ideal vacation is in the woods camping.
