in the mts of colo the mpg stays closer to 8.5-9 ,on the flats & mts of northern nev. it avgs 9.5-10 this is holding the speed to 60-63 mph at 65 to 70 mph & up it drops to 7.5 to8 75 &up it drops to 6.5 or lower depending on how hard you push it. the lower gears is the only mod but if you use tow haul mode mpg is worse I get this mpg only when using the manual mode on my 6 speed because I can select the gear & speed I want to use and its locked there instead of shifting all the time and turning very high rpm to hold a given speed. You may have guessed I am retired so I don't have a set time to be anywhere, its a nice way to travel. Hope this helps you. be aware many mods on the new ford trucks the computer will track even if mods are disconnected and will void your warranty. good luck Ron
