OMG We bought a Rockwood Mini Lite 2304

Hello! I'm Dawn. My hubby and I just purchased a used, but pristine, 2011 Rockwood Mini Lite 2304 that we pick upon Friday. 4/12/13.
I think I'm still in shock that we went ahead and purchased a trailer so quickly after coming home from a second camping trip with a rented Jayco Feather Lite that has a narrow uncomfortable bed.
We rented a year ago and really enjoyed having the benefit of being inside on a cold morning with a fresh pot of coffee and a bathroom available. Rented again this year and it just solidified the idea that we needed our own camper and were too old for tent camping anymore.
Went shopping the day we dropped off our rental and fell in love with this perfect sized Rockwood with a Queen bed. I've been busily reading the forums to learn what we need and finding tips and tricks. I really appreciate this forum already. I've learned tons .
This is a serious step up from the 1970's era pop up that I grew up with and the old motorhome my hubby had years before we met. I look forward to learning more from all of you as we venture into the world of TT ownership.

How exciting! You're gonna have a great time making it your own and getting out and camping. The most important thing you can do to preserve it is to use it! Get out there and have fun

Thanks for the welcomes!
I'm sure I'll have tons of questions - but will try to search the forums for previous discussions before I start asking stuff.
We don't pick up the camper till Friday, so that's the day when I'll be awash in a sea of confusion and questions.
The dealer will walk us through on the use of all systems, they seem to be very good with the customer service & training from what I've heard.

We have a reservation for a single night at a nearby campground the weekend after we get the camper. Close to home for our trial run.

Then we'll try a 4 hour run to a state park in SC for a longer trip.

I have a feeling my full time job is gonna seriously get in the way of my camping fun - LOL.

Welcome to the forum. The 2306 was on our short list of campers, but all the used ones went fast. It looks like you did the right thing by rented first before purchasing.

You rented a Jayco but bought a Forest River. Wow, I just LOVE stories with happy endings!

Welcome, and congratulations on the new trailer. I hope it brings you years of great adventures. In addition to these forums, which can be a great source of information and fun, be sure to check out www.forestriverfrog.com about getting in on your free membership in Forest River Owners' Group. That's where you'll find information and registration forms for most of the FROG trips and rallies.

See you down the road!
