Ontario Camping :)

Hi fellow campers!
I am new to the forum (as of 5 min. ago We are super excited - just waiting for our wildwood trailer to arrive in a few weeks and have already book sites in Grundy and Kilbear this summer
The FROG events look really neat - have they ever held one in Canada?
Happy camping!!!

We might have to organize our own FROG event for Canadians. We could have an east, central and west.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the camper!!

We should make a thread for Ontario Provincial Parks, in which after anyone visits a park, they can post the pros and cons of it (complete with pictures) and also recommend sites etc; kind of like the Grundy Lake thread.

Ontario provincial parks are nice, but I find that they charge as if they are full hook up when the most you can get is electrical.....

I find that most provincial parks are older and the sites are too small for a 34' TT. We have tried camping at several different PP. We also found that the price is no lower then the private parks. At a private park you can get W/E and very often full hookups where as the PP only offer electric and then you need a mile of cord to reach the post.
