Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!
I was beginning to wonder if we were the only people interested in the 831FKBSS!
(It's the same trailer as our 2006 Rockwood, but with the bedroom slide!)

We shopped for 6 months looking at many different front kitchen models, from several manufactures, and after touring the 831FBKSS we both said, this is IT. Bought it the same day. It had just come off the line two weeks prior and dealer had just got it in that week.

We did pretty much the same thing when we were looking back in 2006. We found the 8315SS Rockwood floorplan online. A local dealer had one, we went and took a look at it and put our name on it that day. Now, 4 years later, we are getting the same thing again, but with more bedroom space. (And, with it being the late 2011 model, the rear walk-in closet!)

Had an Equalizer Hitch added to the TT and TV this week and what a difference it made. I feel very comfortable towing our new TT down the interstate now. Never had a problem with the old set up on any of my other campers but none were this large. Had the Grandkids in this weekend and we slept in the camper beside the house and loved every minute of it.

Well everyone my wife and I have gone back to the first trailer we looked at. It's still a Flagstaff but a 5th wheel-852RKWS. Now we will have to upgrade our truck. After much reading and discussion I felt my beloved 2005 Ford F150 Lariat Super crew 51/2 bed was not up to the abuse of cross country and high mountain pulling of 34 foot trailer. After talking with the nice folks at Pulrite-Super glide they did not recommend their hitch for my truck. So Ill be looking for a F250 with a longer bed. So I'm happy and more important the wife is happy.Oh, we have a friend that will tow the trailer home for us. I know it is out of the ordinary to get a trailer before tow vehicle but that's the way it work out. Of course the kids inheritance will probably be the truck and trailer.

Just spent the first weekend in our 831FKBSS and we loved it. The room is great, had some friends visit with us and they were really impressed. Everything is so well laid out. We are so much happier with this TT then the one we purchased last year, the difference between the Classic and the Ultralite is amazing. Of course the price was more but now that we experienced both we are satisfied we made the right decision to trade. Found that the hose for the grill is too short but the dealer had inadvertantly given us two hoses that coupled together and allowed us to use the grill. That was the only snafu we encountered and worked out for us.

The new Equalizer Hitch preformed perfectly. Can't wait for this coming weekend when we go camping with the Grandkids at Stone Mountain.

Hey Buckisland 1950:
We are new members and soon to be owners.
Our 831FLSS is on order, due in April. You mention your equalizer hitch. Did you shop around or have one custom fit? We were 5ers but are now TTers and need to brush up on TT's. Any suggestions?

Glad to hear things are going well with the new TT! .

The dealer is supposed to remove/reinstall the Reese Dual Cam from the 2006 TT to the 2011 TT, so nothing new to buy!
