Talking Our New 2012 Flagstaff 829RKSS

Hi All!!

We are from Southern Indiana and just traded up to our new Flagstaff 829RKSS camper from a Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite and love it!! It has everything we wanted on our "wish list" --He got what he wanted, (outside kitchen) and I did too! (interior) We have had it 2 weeks now. Would love to hear any Tips and Tricks from anyone that has the same model! This is our first RV with a Slide out.. and it makes such a wonderful difference!! This model has the outside kitchen with a pull down TV. Looking forward to entertaining with this one!

and Looking forward to sharing experiences with Fellow Campers!

-Kelly

Welcome and congrats! We have the sister to the Flagstaff-the Rockwood 8293RKSS and we LOVE it! We did lots of research before buying and this one fit the bill perfectly. the huge bathroom is a luxury. Get yourself an oxygenics showerhead. You'll wonder how you lived without one. We did a few mods on the shelves inside and out. They're woefully inadequate and we had a couple of them fail in transit. Closet rod in bathroom also got beefed up After it tore out of the wall. We installed another outlet on the exterior, a 12-volt plug in the outside kitchen, put Formica on the side of the pantry cabinet next to the range, made a bigger spice rack and moved the smaller one outside so we have two, installed a carrier underneath for our "blue boy", put blue rope lighting underneath the camper so we get a soft glow at night, and this winter we're going to beef up the pantry shelves. Other than that, we've used it every chance we get. I wish you happy travels and many great memories!!
