Philly jumps in the deep end

Cheryl and I just put a deposit down on on a new 2014 Coachmen Cross Country 360DL. We are looking forward to this new lifestyle after being hooked on it from renting a class C. I hope to meet some of you out there in the future. We will have Tandem Bicycles and possibly a Spec Miata in tow with us.

Welcome aboard! Congrats on the Coachmen Cross Country too! When do you expect to take delivery on the Coachmen? RVers are pretty friendly so it's might be just a matter of time before crossing paths with another FRF member.

Saturday, the 11th is when we are going to do the PDI. I tell myself 'PDI' vs 'Delivery' so I won't be bummed if I have to leave the coach there w/o signing for it while issue are resolved. Either way, we are going to be on a non RV vacation in a week, so we can't use it until we get back.
Until then we have been living the RV life vicariously through the forums- lots of great information out there.

Saturday is right around the corner and hopefully all goes well. I do recommend checking everything during the PDI. BTW You have a good view on being prepared to leave it if need be. Often we read the opposite of when an new owner takes delivery because of camping plans and ends up taking their unit with known issues.

Good luck and have fun!
