Picked up the new THTT!!!
Well after 18 hrs of driving and 4 hrs at the dealer I finally go the new trailer home!!! bought a new 2010 V-Cross 29VBH. The 2005 GMC Yukon XL hauled it great with the equalizer hitch in place. Was amazed that this trailer is 3500 lbs heavier and 15' longer but I got 2 mpg better!! I am so happy with this new camper. Nationwide RV in MO made this experience that much better. Their service and helpful staff were awsome I would highly recommend them. After searching the web over they had the best price by far. We got the TT for $16,200 which was between 2k-10k less than others. Only problem we had was on the way back we ran into rain and when I got back home the black liner on the underbelly was full of water (approx 5 gallons). Contacted the dealer this am and they said that is normal as long as it drains . Is this normal? Any feedback would be great.
So now I am officially a part of this community many more posts and pics to come.

Congrats on the new camper. Not familiar with trailers, but I would not think that that much water would be normal.
Hope that any problems are minor.

just a question. you said it's a THTT. the floorplan doesn't show any garage for toy hauling. it looks like a standard bunkhouse model, not a toy hauler model.
am i missing something?

It has an optional side load ramp in the back bedroom. It's a $1500 addition.

Welome to the forum and congrats on the new rig. I don't think that much water is normal. I have a Rockwood 8317SS and have never had water drain from the underbelly. Been thru a few storms with it.
Only thing that seems to get in the underbelly are mice.

Welcome to the forum Congrats on the New camper as far as the water try and see where it got in at and make sure the dealer makes a note on this for future problems that may not show up right away from the water Also make sure it is from the rain and not from a leaking tank or a leaky water line

medicspanky, good looking rig.
what type of toys do you plan to carry and how big of one can fit in there?
just a comment. the Yukon looks like it's squatting some. the front looks higher than the rear. i've heard that the Yukon's rear suspension is very soft so as to have a softer ride.
either the rear suspension is too soft or your WDH needs some adjustment.

Thank you. Yes the Yukon is a little squatted for sure. The hitch is adjusted as much as it can be. I think I will be adding airbags to the Yukon.

Nice rig you have there, but if you bring the rear of the Yukon up you will be sitting nose high on the TT and that is not good. It may be an illusion but it looks abit nose high now. So you would have to move the hitch head down further on the shank to lower the nose of the trailer. Better to fix it before you get into lots of traveling.
When we picked up our new TT a couple weeks ago they had a real issue trying to get the TT to sit level because of the trail hitch location and the height of the hitch on our truck, 3 hrs and 4 hitches later they got it perfect.
Good luck with the new TT and happy camping.

We own a Prfessional Competition BBQ Team and catering company. We will be hauling 2 verticle smokers during BBQ season, 5 mountain bikes during our camping, and a 350cc 4 wheeler during deer season. The dealer stated we can haul 800lbs in the TH portion.

You are right it is very very slightly higher in the front. I will have that adjusted ASAP I didnt trust the guy that was doing all the service that day to mess with it. I have a local dealer that does all that for me. right now it is almost level but once I jack up the rear end of the Yukon I will deffinately have to fix it.
