Picking up first rv on Saturday

My wife and I are picking up our first travel trailer on Saturday. We Bought a coachmen clipper 17fq. Looking forward to our future camping, and grateful for any suggestions to newbies. Will be pulling with our Ford Explorer, with tow package. Mostly for taking to distant locations for amateur astronomy, but other camping as well. So lots of dry camping.

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your Coachmen Clipper 17fq. Make sure you do a thorough PDI. A good checklist is available under the Library tab above.

I dont know where you are/live but when you said "distant locations for amateur Astronomy" it caught my eye! Look up "Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory" Benson,AZ. Youroo!!

Make you a trip to a thrift store/Goodwill/dollar to get your kitchen essentials such as pots and pans, utensils, flatware, etc.

Grab some towels and sheets, etc. that are specifically for the RV.

Otherwise, have a great time out searching the stars.
