Please Help

I have a 2012 27RLSS Flagstaff. I am attempting to dewinterize my camper and I can't get hot water out of the faucets. I know the hot water heater is working. The valve on the cold water side going into the hot water heater is open. The problem is the one that goes between the hot and cold hoses. If that one is shut off no water at all comes out of the hot side. I was not able to attach a photo. Leaving for vacation tomorrow. Any suggestions.

Are you sure you got all of the air out of the hot water tank?
If this unit has an outside shower check that those water faucets are both off.

If you have a water heater bypass system, there are three valves that need to be positioned correctly. The middle valve should be closed and the other two valves open.

Depending on how your hot water tank was plumbed, you could have missed the hot water outlet valve or you could have a stuck outlet check valve.

Finding the hot water outlet valve could be a challenge, but changing the check valve is a bigger job.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that is what I have. The problem is if the bypass is in the off position no water will come out of the hot side of the faucet. Doesn't matter the position of the shutoff coming out of the hot side of the heater.Maybe something wrong with that valve?

If the bypass (in the off position) does not allow hot water faucets to flow, then it is working properly.

The problem has to be in the hot water outlet or inlet valves, the outlet check valve, or the tank itself is blocked.

Open the pressure relief valve and see if water comes out under pressure.

If it does, the outlet check valve or valve is closed/blocked with debris/broken.

If not, the cold water inlet valve is closed/broken.
