Pop up to Toy hauler, form Rochester NY

Hello from freezing Rochester NY. My young family and I are proud new owners of a 2015 (new to us) XLR 30hfs5 you hauler. We will pick it up in early April (they are installing a happyjack double bunk in the rear). Will be purchasing a golf cart but really just plan to use the rig as a bunk house for my 2 boys (4yr and 9 months with the wife pregnate with our little girl)

We are giving our beloved jayco( jtrax )pop up to our parents. The pop up was great no tanks or bathroom at all just a air conditioned tent on wheels.

So the family of 5 says hello and would love any feedback on the rig and 5th wheel camping in general.

Hello back and congrats on your new toy hauler.
We also went from a Jayco popup to a almost Toy Hauler With happy jack bunks but settled for a TT instead.
We thought about the Toy Hauler for hauling a golf cart and the kids/grand kids dirt bikes.
In the end the TT won out for the layout with a 3500 to haul the toys.
Them toy haulers are nice, I really liked them with the Happy Jack.

CONGRATULATIONS! You will love having a toy hauler even if you do not have toys! Our toy hauler (WP 25 ULA) goes more times without t ouy than with toys.

Be safe and have fun... post photos.

Welcome. I'm new here too, and new to the TT thing myself. I'm also a fellow upstater - 70 miles north of Syracuse (Watertown).

Enjoy...

Welcome from north central Florida! I was born in Rochester and lived in Webster until I was ten. We camped in a pop-up with our kids while they were growing up, but you will enjoy the toy hauler more, I am sure. I know you are itching to have it delivered and take it out for that first trip!

Welcome from Otego, NY. We're praying for an early Spring, so we can hook up and head out! Enjoy the new memory maker! God Bless.
