Preparing for out maiden voyage!

The wife and I just purchased a 2015 Surveyor sc294qble this week and are preparing for our very first RV trip in about 3 weeks. Our plan is to keep it within 75 miles of home for this trip somewhere in GA and just want to get 1 use out of it to make it our own before winterizing it. If anyone has any helpful tips with similar models or arrival/departure checklists we would love some input. We have done lots of research but i figure the more advice the better!

Thanks and hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hello Everyone! Mike and I have just bought our first hybrid...2004 Forest River Surveyor 223T. From having a seasonal for a few years, its time to hit the road. We are very excited this RV is in exceptional condition and I love the layout. Any tips or feedback anyone has is appreciated.

Steve and I have bought our first travel trailer about 2 months ago and have taken maiden voyage and are looking forward to a few more trips close to home before locking everything up for the winter.

Congrats on your new Surveyor! Sounds like this might be your first RV so I would suggest keeping things simple until you determine your camping style. There are some checklists on the forums that other members have created. It's been a while since I used a checklist but then my camping style is really simple to start with.
