I like the bath that's across the back plus a big closet in it. Also the couch on the slideout has a lot of space behind it for extra storage. We picked up two folding stools for foot rests when we are kicking back. Fair galley layout and big refrigerator. We looked at a lot of units before picking the 25DS.

FloridaPhil what year do you have in the mini lite. Maybe they have changed the system. If so I definitely want to go with the mini.

I have the 2104s and the pipes don't sit low. The whole Rv sits high. I can almost sit up straight when I'm under the Rv.

We Have a 2014 2306 w/murphy (as does FloridaPhil)... This camper sits higher than our previous camper, an RPod w/axel risers. No problems thus far with height issues.

I'm on the bigger side of big guys and I have no problem with making the bed in the morning... Even if it were a little tough... id take 30-seconds of inconvenience to have a full day of couch accessibility. We do not have the end tables... I would think those would make it harder to make the bed. We have a 3" memory foam on ours and have had no problems with making it up, lifting it or storing it in the upright position.

There are a couple threads under the Rockwood sub on the 2306.

I am in full agreement with KDH...

I have a 2014 and the trailer sits high and the bed is great especially on a rainy day, like the one we just had in the Keys.

Mike, we just realized there is a hand pull to raise the bed to the right of the bed...we had been pulling the cable in the back...hahaha

Spending a week camping in our 2502s. Its raining tonight and we have plenty of space to relax, have dinner and watch TV inside our camper.

Enjoy pvillebly! I love a rainy nite when we are camping. It is just so cozy inside. Haven't decided yet whether to purchase the 2502s or the 2503s. I love the storage in the 2503s. So it's down to whether I want a standing bed or a murphy bed. Oh the decisions we must make. lol

I have only had my 2013 Mini 2503S for a couple weeks but love it.

Spent 3 nights on the murphy bed and its comfortable, sturdy, and easy to fold up/down. The bedding all stays right where it should when you use the provided strap.

Regarding the low drains. It doesnt seem like a problem if your careful. The unit does have good ground clearance. (of course I am knocking on wood now that I just said that)

Good Luck!

I do wish there was a window behind the murphy bed though. It's nice to be able to peek out and check on things. Time to get a couple cameras I guess.

You all have been so helpful and it really makes me excited to do something. But I just can't decide. I think the thing that is holding me back is the low drains. I don't know what Forest River doesn't change that. If they did I believe they would sell tons of Mini Lites or Micro Lites.
