R pod owner

Hi, we had to sell our motorhome last year for health reasons and now bought a used 177 R pod. We live in central South Dakota in the Oahe Dam area. We camp mostly in the Black Hills in Federal campgrounds where we have to boondock, which we enjoy. We are in our 80's and have been camping for over 40 years. Our cooking is a mutual effort and mostly done outdoors, which we enjoy. Oh, can anyone in this camping world help us? We have a Sunbeam microwave #22202 but no manual. It is different than the 22200. we need help setting the clock. The clock and timer are on the same button.
It's great the be a part of this camping world as campers are the most friendly, helpful and honest people around.

Wow, more power to you both! I hope I get to enjoy camping for another 40 years. Try this for your micro

It might not be the exact same but maybe similar steps for setting the clock.

All the best!

Welcome from Wisconsin. I sure hope we're still camping when we're in our 80's.

Thanks and my microwave

We sure appreciate all the welcomes and fine words from you fellow campers.
We have a R Pod 177 pulled by a 2010 Silverado 150 and waiting for warmer weather to try it out.
We are trying to set the clock on our microwave. It is a Sunbeam 22202, which is different than a 22200. This one has the clock and timer on the same button.
If anyone has a similar unit, please send the instruction for setting the clock.

Happy camping to all you fine people.

We also are in our 80's so this isn't a put down! you may have to do what we do in situations like you describe - get your grand kids involved

Older campers

Hi emptypockets, it is so great to hear from another "experienced" camper.
We aren't going to let age stop us, maybe health will. We alter our activities to fit our ability. Keep on camping and enjoying the great outdoors.
