I may end up with a 5th wheel, but I would need a new truck, something I am not prepared to do. I am in love with my truck, so I need to drive it for a few more years before I either replace it or pay it off and can afford another one.
For now I decided to limit myself to whatever my Raptor can pull. I am shooting for 7,000 lbs. There are quite a few light travel trailer options out there to choose from. After I do that for a while, I may decide to go bigger or motorhome. But that's the plan as of today.
P.S. and thanks for the comment on the local service. If the savings are substantial I may opt for out of state, but there's a couple of local RV dealers in Tampa that look awesome and get very good reviews. For my first trailer I think I'd like the support of a dealer. Lazy Days will have me "camp" in their site the first night to work out all the bugs. They seem like a very reliable and reputable bunch. But they don't carry Rockwood. Good thing I still have a ways to go before I pull the trigger so I need to do a lot more research. Thanks for the replies!
