Returning To RVing...

Hello,

I joined the forum after making the decision to re-enter the RV camping arena after a few years without an RV. This afternoon my wife and decided on a 2015 Flagstaff T21 QBHW for our next RV.

I started off on Coleman "pop ups" in the 90's and then we worked up through hybrids, mid sized travel trailers and finally to large travel trailers with slides that required a very large tow vehicle. Somewhere along the way it quit being fun and started being work!

We are looking forward to "right sizing", at least for us, with the T21 as it has everything we want to get back in to RVing. I even have a 2014 Ford Expedition Limited, with the tow package, so it should handle the T21 okay...

We are destination campers who use our RV for touring. Now that my wife and I are both retired we are mapping out some long trips to the Northwest, Southwest, Alaska and Canada once we get the T21 "debugged" and set up for longer trips.

We won't be picking up our new RV until around the first of April so I'll be mostly lurking and seeing what tips I can pick up about A-Frames as this will be a new experience for us.

Regards,

Hello and welcome. Congrats on the new Flagstaff. I'm sure April won't come fast enough for you but in the meantime you can fill the void with these forums.

Hi there and welcome to the forums! If you don't mind I'm going to borrow your term "Right-sizing". Ditto about April seeming like a long way away. I'm having a tough time waiting for late November to arrive for my next trip.

You will find lots of good tips, suggestions and information in the A-frame forum for sure. I know I do and I have a different type unit. Until spring arrives there's lots of good reading here on the forum.
