Hey all,

Just a quick introduction. Picking up our first RV in a week and new to the forum.

2016 Wildwood 28DBUD using my 2014 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi to pull it. WD hitch is in the mail already as well as helper springs that I'll be installing this coming week. Brake controller already installed.

We've rented a few times but decided we were sick of that and wanted to own our own.

Looking forward to learning from you guys.

Welcome from NC. You will find a lot of great info here and remember the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. We've all been rookies at one time. Congrats

I'm towing a 26TBSS with a 2015 Ram 1500 Hemi with e2 hitch. No issues with sway, but still need to dial in the WD a bit. Don't trust the dealer to set it up properly. When I got mine home, I could pull off the bars by hand without touching the tongue jack... Guess they set it up expecting my Ram to squat real bad. The trailer just leveled it, my sig pic is basically at the dealer with no WD.

I'm running the factory rear springs with Monroe Load Adjusting Shocks. Seems to tow fine and handles the 900+ lb tongue weight on my unit, but I'm always looking to mod and improve (even if I owned a 3500 haha). Please post about your springs once installed. Did you go with Tuftruck units?

EDIT: Just noticed your in Houston, I'm in Conroe. Bought mine from Camperland up here 3 weeks ago.

Welcome from Arkansas.

There are indeed two types of stupid questions.

A) The one you won't ask.

B) All the ones I ask.

Genusii here always answer both, though! Flawlessly!

Happy Camping.
