Hello all...My wife and I just purchased a 2015 Grey Wolf 26BH. We have done a lot of tent camping but this will be our fist experience with a travel trailer. Looking to have some fun with our little family (we have a 2yr old son). We pick it up Friday and are heading straight to a local site to break it in. Any good tips for a newbie?

Welcome! Fellow Arkansan here and new to travel trailer camping. We picked up our Roo last week and headed too a local campground to break it in. Read up on how a TT works. I knew next to nothing on how one works (plumbing system, electrical, etc..) I learned quite a bit by reading posts in this forum as the owners manual is really generic. Most of all, have fun with your new Grey Wolf!

Welcome aboard! I also started out tent camping before getting my TT.

As for tips I would suggest figuring out what you really need to buy now and what can you get later on. Once I figured out my camping style I ended returning a lot of stuff.

Keeping things simple has works best for me. For an example I have a small folding table that I often will use. Instead of carrying another table cloth I just use my beach towel as a cover. That same beach towel comes in handy as a pad for the little step stool that I sometimes use as a foot rest.

Thanks all!! First trip went great. We are learning what we will need and will chip away at it. Can't wait for our next trip. Hopefully it will be a little warmer.

Welcome from Hot Springs. I started tent camping many years ago with the BSA as a leader then moving to a 5th wheel in 2004. Sold the 5ver last year and we now own a TT. I learn something new on every campout. I keep a small notebook handy around camp so I can jot down ideas and needs. I also learn a ton from this forum.
